Democratic Candidates for Ohio House Announce First Primary Debate | Press Release
Mar 30, 2022
On April 9th at 6 pm, Claire Osborne will be participating in a debate hosted by The Blinkin Project with Melissa Kritzell at the University of Findlay’s Ritz Auditorium. Osborne and Kritzell are Democratic candidates for the 83rd Ohio House District though the district number and geographical coverage area is subject to change as Ohio’s redistricting process has yet to be finalized. The debate will be live-streamed on Facebook and YouTube through The Blinkin Project for viewers wishing to view it at home.
Osborne shared her ideas regarding the debate stating, “I anticipate sharing with voters how my policies aim to recover, reimagine, and rebuild Ohio and it starts here in our district. I look forward to having an open discussion regarding our policies and the change both Melissa and I will strive for in our community. My team and I believe in allowing the community to decide who is the best candidate to lead this movement in the Statehouse in Columbus.
“We believe that integrity, communication, and transparency are vital to the success of our democratic processes. This campaign is dedicated to bringing these ideals to the Ohio House. We are grateful to The Blinkin Project for making arrangements to host our first primary debate and we would also like to thank Ms. Kritzell for participating. We look forward to debating our ideas.”
Claire Osborne believes that our state government should be open and fair for everyone. Her campaign’s priorities center around having better educational opportunities for all, increased mental health awareness to include substance abuse prevention and education, and having a robust infrastructure.
