Claire Osborne is permanently passionate about ensuring Ohio is a great place to live, work and thrive. This can be achieved if we dare to Recover, Reimagine, & Rebuild Ohio for our future.

When she saw a need in her community for young people to have a place to belong she co-founded the Hancock County Young Democrats and presently serves as its president. With that passion to serve her community, she works as the program manager for a local peer recovery community organization that is focused on helping build recovery skills for those who struggle with substance abuse, mental health conditions, or trauma.

She is running to represent the 83rd Ohio House District on the belief that:

  • Ohioans deserve

  • a high quality of life where each individual and community can thrive

  • affordable healthcare and

  • rights to bodily autonomy when it comes to reproductive health

  • The environment needs protection and new green jobs can be created while we are at it

  • Public K-12 schools need to be fully funded which should also expand:

  • Every 4 and 5 year old deserves Pre K

  • opportunities for STEAM programs in our school

  • skilled trade school learning options

  • Ohio’s LGBTQ+ youth and adults should be protected from discrimination to ensure a strong future for Ohio.
